"Hidden Links" is the first studio album of Rahel Hutter's and Niklas Kraft's long term collaboration, called Snakesoda.
After they came back from a tour through israel, they recorded those songs between 2018-2019 at different spaces, rooms and states of their minds. All of them got scored, produced and edited by Niklas in their former studio at Funkhaus, Berlin.
For this album, Rahel's lyrical output is influenced by John Cage, Ann Quinn, Sylvia Plath and experimental beatnik literature - often diverging between story telling and abstract punch lines.
The songs' density try to capsule the image of a complex world, full of different perspectives, their dreams and desires to come together at last.

Rahel Hutter and Niklas Kraft have been sharing a certain spirit for the last ten years in various constellations in the field of free improvised music and performance art. Since the two friends live in Berlin, they captured the idea of making music together with various instruments and DAW's, looking for alienation of sound and text fragments. This specific cooperation is a living process that explores the very essence of which it is made of - the state of being in a permanent extended dialogue ..
